About the Artist
Born in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona, Savannah Allred is an artist living and working in Provo, Utah. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in Fine Art in the spring of 2025. Allred is expected to attend Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in the Fall of 2026 to receive her Masters in Fine Art with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing.
Allred’s practice draws from personal imagery and symbols to explore self-identity, memory, and the human experience. Her work blends digital and tactile mediums—such as oil painting and resin sculptures—to bridge the past and present, capturing the ephemeral nature of memory. A sense of layered discovery and introspection runs through her compositions, weaving together the visible and invisible forces that shape identity.
Her work embraces contrasts: the personal and the universal, the sacred and the mundane, and the tangible and intangible. Allred sees art as a process of reconciliation, uncovering meaning through the intersection of life’s fragmented histories and the ongoing search for self.
